1st Inaugural UCSD Eating Disorder Treatment Conference for Professionals and Those Affected
With the goal of engaging both practitioners and those affected by eating disorders, including their families, this conference will bring together experts in the field to present the most innovative approaches for intervening in these most difficult cases. As we are beginning to understand the behavioral and neural risk factors for eating disorders, this knowledge is contributing to the development of more effective treatment approaches. At this conference, Walter Kaye, M.D., and Janet Treasure, Ph.D., FRCP, will discuss the most recent advances in this area. In addition, Daniel Le Grange, Ph.D., and Kerri Boutelle, Ph.D., will cover the latest from family-based treatment (FBT) and Lucene Wisniewski, Ph.D., and Leslie Anderson, Ph.D., will offer their expertise in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), with training in new practical skills for both FBT and DBT.
