In Loving Memory...

Debbie
Died of anorexia on june 25th 1998. She was my best friend and a very loving and caring person, who loved to help others, but couldn't help herself. I miss her dearly, but I pray for her soul to be free from the suffering she faced in her life - Love, Laurie

Tami Valles
Died last October from heart problems. She had an eating disorder for many years, and never gave up her goal of recovery. She was doing well and growing in her faith, too, at the time when she passed away. She left behind 3 young sons, a husband, her mother, and many friends. To all of us, she was a very special person, and she will always be remembered with love. To me personally, she was such an insiration in my own struggle with anorexia & bulimia. Tami was only 30 when she died, but she had a very rough 30 years. Now she is at peace.

Nicki Lynn Turner
Birthdate: 01-17-70
Date of Death: 02-07-99

Nicki was a beautiful, intelligent young girl who suffered from anorexia / bulimia since she was 13 years old. At age 22 she was hospitalized for the first of many attempts at recovery. She was hospitalized periodically for the next 6 years at every major eating disorder facility we knew of. She desperately searched for a reason for this terrible disease that plagued and ruined her life. She thought that she couldn't overcome the disease and said that it controlled 95% of her brain. In April last year she had a near death experience. As I held her close all night in bed, she took me on a journey to Heaven where she had no more pain, no one knew she was sick and she looked like everybody else. The next 9 months with my only child were a gift from God and together we experienced true unconditional love. She died 2 weeks after her 29th birthday of a massive heart attack
