Carla Died september 1998. I never knew her but I read about her in a newspaper and her story touched me. She was aged 16 and had been ill for approximately a year. She died from an infection caused by her low immune system, she had never been admitted anywhere for anorexia despite being at a critical weight. I think she highlights the fact that funding and hospital beds need to be given beds -NOW! my first hospital admission was 3 years ago today! they let me go after blood tests - 6 days stay without making me eat and I was only 60% which put me on the critical list.

Kristen Scovel Born on Nov.5, 1978 and ended her battle with anorexia on April 3, 1998. She is now at peace in Jesus' arms. She left behind a loving family and many friends that miss her deeply. I'll see you when the angels fly my way.

Marion E. Carlberg Died Christmas Day, 1981 of complications due to anorexia. She was 37 years old.
